Forecast Discussion:
Showers are beginning to form this morning in eastern Arizona. The rain could reach Douglas as it continues today and tonight, and there will be a chance for hourly increases this evening as gusty winds could come with the showers. However, this rain is forecasted to not saturate soils directly in Douglas as much as areas east. Breezy east winds are forecasted later Saturday and will continue Sunday, increasing hourly PM10 values. The typical increases from local activity are expected early next week.
