Discussion

Over the next several days, a large low-pressure wave will press into the continent from the Pacific Ocean and result in daily, breezy conditions in/around Arizona. No rain is expected, though some high-levels clouds may be possible.

Air quality-wise, the active atmosphere is expected to help limit ozone levels, pockets of dust from dust-prone areas during breezier periods. Such times currently look to be the next few afternoons and/or evenings.

One good thing is that the winds will likely help reduce the local build-up of PM10 from local sources.

The dust risk (i.e. risk of exceeding the health standard) is Low each day for now. But, we'll watch for any changes in trends.

Check back again on Monday for the next update.
