Forecast Discussion:
Over the next several days, a large low-pressure wave will press into the continent from the Pacific Ocean and result in daily, breezy conditions in/around Arizona. No rain is expected, though some high-levels clouds may be possible.
Air quality-wise, the active atmosphere is expected to help limit ozone levels. Therefore, ozone is forecast to decrease this weekend. However, we can't rule out pockets of dust from dust-prone areas during breezier periods. Such times currently look to be the next few afternoons and/or evenings.
One good thing is that the winds will likely help reduce the local build-up of PM from local sources. However, PM10 can still reach the Moderate AQI category on any given day.
